Aquabest, the country’s leading water refilling station continues its growth as it opens a new Aquabest store in Panipuan San Fernando, Pampanga. Present during the store opening were franchisee Rita Villacarlos, Albert Gacis, Aquabest’s Business Development Officer and Aquabuzz, Aquabest’s Brand Mascot.

GQWEST the company behind the Aquabest and Aquaquest water franchises has continued to partner with the Great Lighthouse Foundation and National Kidney and Transplant Institute (NKTI) for their recent Voluntary Blood Program.

The bloodletting program will help boost the supply of blood in the country’s blood banks. At present health workers need to collect 2,232 units of donated blood every day to ensure the adequacy of blood supply to meet the Philippine annual blood requirement currently pegged at 700,000 to 750,000 units.

The company was able to provide the NKTI with 10 blood donors who each gave around a pint of blood each. The volunteers stated that they are happy to have done their part to help save the lives of people who urgently need blood transfusions in order to survive.

Aquabest the country’s premier water franchise is helping in the construction of a community outreach center in Taguig by sponsoring a charity event titled Love Laugh to Share.

Love Laugh to Share is A charity dinner show that will be held at the Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila. The proceeds of the event will go to the construction of the Bahay Lingap a three storey community outreach center that would house the service projects of the Rotary Club of Fort Bonifacio Global City. Performing at the charity show are seasoned artists Nanette Inventor, Vernie Varga, and Jun Polistico.

Aquabest has been a long time advocate of responsible corporate citizenship through its promotion of corporate shared values that seeks to give out more than what one receives. Apart from the sponsorship of the Bahay Lingap, Aquabest is also involved in tree planting activities, blood drives, and mentorship programs.

Aquabest the country’s premier water franchiser along with Business Mirror recently signed an agreement with the Rotary Club of Fort Bonifacio Global City to support “Love, Laugh to Share” a charity dinner show to be held at the Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila. The show aims to raise funds for Bahay Lingap a community outreach center that will house all the club’s projects. Signing the contract are (LtoR) Marvin Nisperos Estigoy VP for Advertising Business Mirror, Frederick Alegre VP for Corporate Affairs Business Mirror, Glen De Guzman President Rotary Club of Fort Bonifacio Global City, and Kendrick Go Corporate Communications Consultant Aquabest.

AQUABEST GOES EDGY WITH “ART ON THE EDGE”

Aquabest the country’s premier water franchise is set to support Philippine art and culture as it participates in the National Commission on Culture and the Art’s (NCCA) celebrations for the National Arts Month (NAM).

The Philippines celebrates the National Arts Month (NAM) on February with the NCCA being the lead agency for activities such as the Philippine Arts Festival (PAF). For 2014, PAF has taken the theme “Art on the Edge,” highlighting the advancements achieved in different art forms, the innovations, the modern evolution of art, and the artistic creations in the peripheries.

On February 22 and 23, the NCCA will hold the Art Fiesta at the Luneta Park and Intramuros where various cultural activities and works of art would be exhibited. In support of the Art Fiesta, Aquabest would be giving away free water for festival visitors throughout the two day event. At the same time it would also be giving away fun and premium items during a series of game and promos in the exhibit.

At the same time, in keeping with the theme “Art on the Edge”, Aquabest will be providing its bottles to be used as musical instruments and materials for the improvised theatrical performances to be performed during the event. The brand may also be featured in other works of art exhibited during the event.
